Confirmation is a three-year faith development ministry for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. The purpose of Confirmation is to educate our students about the promises that were made at their baptism and working to help them grow in their faith to claim these promises as their own in the Rite of Confirmation. The focus of St. Peter's confirmation program is help our young people to grow in a faith relationship between themselves and God as well between one another.

Our confirmation focuses on a different topic each year. One year focuses on the Old Testament. The next year will focus on the New Testament. And the third year will focus on Luther's Small Catechism. Confirmation classes are held every other week following Sunday Service from 11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. in the Sunday School Classrooms from September through Palm Sunday.

At the completion of the program, students are invited to affirm their baptismal promises in the Rite of Confirmation celebrated each year on Palm Sunday.
